SELECTION PROCESS
“The Management reserves the proper to raise the minimal eligibility standards/criteria and/or to
conduct a screening test, to restrict the variety of candidates to be called for Group Discussion &
Personal Interview, if so required.”
The selection of POSOCO regarding scrutiny of utility and shortlisting shall be final and binding.
The Selection Process consists of marks got (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-
2022, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Eligible candidates will have to appear in the
corresponding paper of GATE-2022 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE).
Candidates certified in corresponding paper of GATE-2022 i.e. Electrical Engineering (EE) shall only be
eligible to follow for the posts of Assistant Manager (Power System) and Executive Trainee (Electrical).
Qualifying marks in GATE-2022 shall be as decided via GATE-2022 Organising Institute.
Qualified candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview
based on their normalized marks out of 100 in corresponding paper of GATE-2022 i.e. Electrical
Engineering (EE). Candidates shall achieve information about their repute through their candidate login
at the POSOCO Online Application System. Shortlisted candidates shall be in a position to download their
Group Discussion & Personal Interview name letter and other applicable documents via the
candidate login.
Also, shortlisted candidates shall be required to bring the documents, as cited in their call
letter, at the time of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates have to qualify in the
Personal Interview in order to be considered eligible for empanelment.
